A Little Piece of Heaven in Siam Reap

This was our second trip to Siam Reap, Cambodia. Our first visit to Siam Reap was over a decade ago when my son was only a couple of months old. Siam Reap is truly one of Asia’s gem that deserves a second look. But this time we wanted to experience it differently, so we decided to camp at ‘The Beige’.

This perfect little heaven tucked away amidst the tropical forests of Siem Reap will surely leave an everlasting mark in your heart. From the moment, we drove towards this property in their complimentary air-conditioned transfer service we quickly realised why The Beige was so highly rated. As soon as our vehicle stops in front of the hotel, Koichi, the manager greeted us with smile and welcomed us. As we stepped out of the vehicle we had staff cover us with umbrellas and escort us to the hotel lobby where we were provided with nice refreshing wet towels and an icy tea. Koichi showed us our tent and gave us a mobile phone and a pocket Wi-Fi to use during our stay (we could even take this outside the hotel in case we needed to contact our driver or the hotel or if we got lost). The tent was AMAZING. The decor, the vibe, everything about the tents were on point. The Beige is amazing and bucket list worthy for places to stay.

If we ever had a chance to come back to Cambodia again, we would stay here again, no second thought.Svay Chek Road, Svay Chek Commune, Angkor Thom, Siem Reap, Cambodia
